CBI Offroad's 2023 Toyota Sequoia

The Toyota Sequoia was first produced in 2000 and 23 years later, Toyota has launched an all-new Toyota Sequoia that is impressive. Aside from its overall impressive appearance, what is contained under the hood might be the most exciting new feature. The 2023+ Toyota Sequoia comes with a 437 horsepower iForce MAX hybrid powertrain. Some other exciting features include the Sequoia’s interior which includes three rows of seats and a large 14-inch touchscreen. Despite the Sequoia coming from the factory quite capable, the team over at CBI Offroad turned a stock Sequoia into an absolute overland and offroad beast.

The CBI Offroad Sequoia was first unveiled at the 2022 SEMA show where it took the onlookers by surprise. This wasn’t a Sequoia with some basic bolt-on parts, it was a Sequoia that CBI Offroad purpose-built with many new products including the CBI Sequoia Covert Front Bumper, CBI Sequoia Dual Swing Out Rear Bumper, Prinsu Sequoia Roof Rack, CBI Sequoia Side Steps, CBI Sequoia Ditch Light Brackets, CBI Sequoia Full Skid Plate Package, and much more. These parts are now allowing 2023+ Sequoia owners to transform their own Sequoia to fit their offroad needs. Below we will look a bit more in-depth at some of the CBI and Prinsu parts used on this Sequoia SEMA build.

Prinsu Sequoia Roof Rack:

Like most Prinsu Racks, the Toyota Sequoia Roof Rack can be installed without any drilling and installs to factory threaded holes in the middle and rear of the Sequoia. The front is attached with 3M VHB tape and the rack can generally be installed within a few hours and includes all hardware.

CBI Sequoia Covert Front Bumper:

CBI Covert Front Bumpers are slim, lightweight, functional, and sure to impress. The Sequoia Covert Front Bumper is also packed with features including a winch tray constructed from quarter-inch steel, mounting points for a 20-inch LED single-row light bar, and an optional bolt-on push bar. It gets even better; the CBI Sequoia Covert allows you to retain the use of factory sensors.

CBI Sequoia Dual Swing Arm Rear Bumper:

The CBI Dual Swing Arm Rear Bumper is a feature-packed option designed to not only provide excellent protection for the rear of a Sequoia but also add unmatched functionality. The CBI Sequoia Dual Swing Out Rear Bumper can hold an oversized spare tire and mounts are provided for Fuel and Water Cans, Recovery Gear, and much more. CBI Sequoia Ditch Light Brackets:

Ditch Light Brackets have become very popular and are an extremely easy way to add light to any vehicle. It only makes sense that CBI included some on their Sequoia SEMA build. The CBI Sequoia Ditch Light Brackets bolt-on and allow you to mount Pod Lights directly to the A-Pillar. These lights can be perfect for side lighting or more forward-facing light.

CBI Sequoia Overland Skid Plates:

Arguably, some of the most important products on CBI’s Sequoia build cannot be seen - CBI’s Sequoia Skid Plates. This includes the CBI Sequoia Front Skid Plate, CBI Sequoia Rear Skid Plate, CBI Sequoia Transition Skid Plate, and CBI Sequoia Lower Control Arm Skid Plates. All of these Skid Plates are designed to protect the crucial underbody components such as the engine, transmission, transfer case, and more, from rocks, ruts, and anything else.
